The Trench Warfare 2026 NFL Draft Film Room - Episode 2 featuring Miami LT Markel Bell

Welcome everyone to the 2026 NFL Draft film room series where I sit down with various offensive line prospects to bring you unique insight into the position from their perspective. Each film room will be full of technique, scheme, opponents, background stories and exclusive details about each player that you won’t find anywhere else. This is the sixth year in a row that I have been able to put these together.

Some of my most popular past draft film rooms:

Penn State OG Vega Ioane (2026)

Patriots LT Will Campbell (2025)

Saints LT Kelvin Banks Jr. (2025)

Cowboys LG Tyler Booker (2025)

Chiefs LT Josh Simmons (2025)

Jets RT Armand Membou (2025)

Chargers RT Joe Alt (2024)

Steelers C Zach Frazier (2024)

Bears RT Darnell Wright (2023)

Titans LG Peter Skoronski (2023)

Chiefs C Creed Humphrey (2021)

Eagles LG Landon Dickerson (2021)

I welcomed Miami offensive tackle Markel Bell to the film room as the latest episode of my 2026 OL prospect series. A rare, skyscraper-built tackle at 6’9”, 358 pounds with 36 5/8” arms (Senior Bowl measurements), Bell brings a size/length profile you simply don’t see often — the type that can change pass-rush geometry and force defenders to take longer, cleaner paths to the quarterback.

Bell started 21 career games at Miami after spending two years at Holmes Community College, and his trajectory shows up on tape: a player still refining the details, but with increasingly clear answers for how to weaponize his length, stay square, and make rushers work around his frame. The physical advantages are obvious — what’s most interesting is how he’s learning to play to them with better spacing, hand usage, and patience.

In this film room, we walk through key reps and coaching points from his season — including the nuances of timing, landmarks, and screen-game rules — to illustrate both why teams will be intrigued and what he still needs to tighten up to reach his ceiling.

Free preview runs from :43–9:00. Full Film Room available for paid subscribers.
